Legacy Unboxed Presented by YBCA

Legacy Unboxed: Conversations with choreographers Liz Lerman, Joanna Haigood, Merián Soto, and Jawole Willa Jo Zollar

Join YBCA Senior Fellow Liz Lerman in conversation with three other groundbreaking artists and extraordinary choreographers: Joanna Haigood (Zaccho Dance Theater), Merián Soto (Pepatián) and Jawole Willa Jo Zollar (Urban Bush Women).

An evening of engaging exchange, these brilliant artists will discuss how they reimagine the ways an artist’s life’s works are shared with the world, by disrupting the traditional notions of what constitutes an artistic legacy.

Please plan to arrive early to explore the exhibition Brett Cook & Liz Lerman: Reflection & Action, enjoy a beverage with friends, and contribute to an interactive timeline from the 1970s to the present.
