Kate is an accomplished Senior Project Manager with a wealth of experience in various sectors. With a B.S. in Geography, an M.A. in Geography, and an M.A. in Pastoral Ministry, she brings a unique blend of knowledge and skills to her role. With over 25 years of project management experience, Kate has worked in technology, volunteer management, non-profit, and healthcare, demonstrating her versatility and adaptability.
Her strength lies in her attention to detail while always keeping sight of the broader project objectives. Her track record includes a successful tenure with UnitedHealthCare, where she played a pivotal role in establishing innovative housing solutions for individuals with high health needs experiencing homelessness. Working across 18 cities and collaborating with 20 housing partners, she made housing accessible to those who faced lengthy waits to get housing.
Kate also served as the Associate Director for a non-profit organization dedicated to providing safe and healthy homes for low-income vulnerable adults. She coordinated volunteer efforts, ranging from small groups to larger gatherings of up to 200 individuals, all with the goal of enhancing homeowners’ lives and partnering with community organizations to create better spaces for the people they served.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Kate is committed to giving back to her community. She volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in foster care, greets guests at the Desert Botanical Gardens, and advocates for individuals with Alzheimer’s. Kate’s dedication is further underscored by her three years of full-time volunteer service through AmeriCorps and Missionary Cenacle Volunteers,
