With a deep commitment to social impact and a relentless belief in the power of people, they strive to create a workplace that empowers change agents to achieve their full potential. At the core of Lenicha’s approach is a dedication to building strong relationships and nurturing cultures of trust. They work diligently to cultivate an atmosphere where everyone feels valued and celebrated for their distinct perspectives and backgrounds.

Lenicha’s journey in human resources and people operations has been shaped by a rich tapestry of experiences spanning over 10+ years. Throughout their eclectic career, they have had the privilege of working in multiple industries, including food service, call centers, retail, and bleachers and athletic equipment. Their work with diverse teams and communities in the private and public sectors helped hone their ability to understand and cater to the unique needs of each individual. Lenicha believes that personal growth and fulfillment go hand-in-hand with professional success and carries this philosophy into every aspect of their life.

Having adopted a servant leadership mindset from the examples set by their parents, Lenicha continues to be involved in their community. In 2018 as the Regional Field Organizer for the ACLU of Florida, they worked alongside teams and organizations to exceed projected approval numbers for the northwest districts on Florida’s Amendment 4 campaign, which granted returning citizens their right to vote. Lenicha has also served on the board of a local nonprofit, Open Books Bookstore, assisting with its dedicated prison book project and fundraising efforts. They are also an active member of their local Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) chapter and currently serve as the chair of their Workforce Readiness Committee.

Lenicha holds the designation of a certified professional with SHRM (SHRM-CP) and is enrolled at the University of West Florida where they are elevating their current associate degree to a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management. Outside of work and school, you can often find them engaging in volunteer activities with the Equity Project Alliance, caring for their menagerie of fur children, or binging on their guilty pleasures of movies and tv.
