Marion A. Olang

Social Transformation Intern

Marion Olang is a writer and editor based in Kenya. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in Urban and regional planning from Maseno University. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Urban Management, and has an extensive experience in research and proposal development. She has worked with disenfranchised women and girls on empowerment programs as a certified trainer and mentor. She also works to create interesting, entertaining, and informative content for websites and blogs. Storytelling is at the core of her work, connecting with the realm of human experience through fiction and non-fiction. Marion’s work is a perfect integration of talent, art, and experience. Her work has featured on policewatchkenya.co.ke and worldpulse.org. She also takes on freelance writing jobs for clients including academic writing jobs, proposals, articles, dissertations, and reports. Marion infuses philosophy and culture in her work in a manner that the reader finds simple and relatable.
