Renee B. Marcus

CEO Executive Assistant

Renee B. Marcus is the Executive Assistant to the President & Ceo, Somava Saha, with over 15 years of experience in providing comprehensive administrative support to C-suite executives in various industries. Renee has made it her modus operandi to make professionals individually, and organizations collectively, more efficient. Beyond her extensive expertise in executive support, Renee has developed a deep-rooted passion for social justice and equity for minorities, especially children. Throughout her career, she has actively sought opportunities to align her professional skills with her personal values, making a meaningful impact in these areas.

Being born in Harlem, NYC, Renee grew up in an environment that made her very compassionate and understanding of the circumstances and inequities of underserved communities.

As an adult, Renee chose to begin her career overseas. Spending two years in Kuwait, border to a war torn country, she feverishly worked to ensure American troops had the resources they needed to be successful within their mission. Overseeing the purchasing process and delivery of necessary goods to American troops, was not only a job, but a mission. Renee has always been a small piece in the attempt to help the larger picture.

Renee has participated in countless marches, boycotts, community fundraisers and peaceful protests to make the unheard, heard; the unseen, seen. She is a voice and an advocate for children who need to grow up in safer and more equitable environments. She is a firm believer that if we provide children the nurture and education they need, our future will be stronger and brighter with more equipped change leaders and more mentally and emotionally successful individuals. Being a part of the WE team, to her, is helping the world get closer to social justice, environmental sustainability and building equity for all people, no matter the color of their skin or differing ideologies.
